Obzr collects only what it can't work without. No analytics, no ads, no tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

The controller is Karel Smetana, the maker of Obzr. You can reach me through the contact form.

The app without an account

Mac monitoring, AI limits, agent sessions and widgets run only on your Mac and send nothing. Obzr gets Claude limits through Claude Code on your computer and never touches your Claude sign-in. Its only contact with our server is the update check (IP address and app version in ordinary server logs).

Account and website monitoring

You create an account by signing in with Apple. We store:

• Apple's identifier and your email (or Apple's private relay email),
• your devices' names and their access keys (hashed only, never readable),
• your monitored websites and check results: individual checks for 7 days, hourly summaries for 90 days, outages for 1 year (your plan may show a shorter history),
• your Telegram token and chat, if you turn on Telegram alerts (the token is encrypted).

The legal basis is performing our contract – website monitoring can't run without this data. You can delete your account and all its data at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account).

Contact form

Your name, email and message are used only to reply and kept for at most 12 months (legitimate interest in answering you). Google reCAPTCHA protects the form from spam. It loads only when you open the form, and Google then processes technical details about your browser and your IP address.

Website

obzr.cz has no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. Only Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies, and only after you open the contact form. The server keeps technical logs (IP address, time, requested page) briefly for operation and security.

Where the data lives and who sees it

• Hetzner Online GmbH – EU servers that run Obzr,
• Apple – account sign-in,
• Telegram – only if you turn on Telegram alerts; it receives the alert text,
• Google – reCAPTCHA on the contact form,
• Brevo – delivering contact form messages to my inbox.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data and to object. Just write through the contact form. If you're not satisfied, you can turn to the Czech data protection authority (uoou.gov.cz).
